Marshall was brutally beaten when he was 9

When he was 9 years old, Marshall was brutally beaten with a heavy snow
object, used outside to take out the snow, and was laying on his
elementary school’s bathroom floor in a pool of blood,
and he had a severe head injury.

He was rushed into the hospital, and went into a coma for 10 days.
 

And 4 days, the doctors said he would die, and they almost gave up on him.
